How to delete a VPN connection on Windows 7
by Dush on Dec.14, 2009, under Uncategorized
hey guys,
Just in case if you are on Windows 7 and surfing around, biting your nails, to find how to delete the VPN connection that you created, and if you can’t see the DELETE option on the connection list context menu. ?? (anyway it’s not there )
Just click on the “Change Adapter Settings” link on the “Network And Sharing Center”, once you do you will see the connections that you’ve created just like previous windows. from there you can delete the connections that you don’t want.

This only works for the currently logged on user. Is there a way to delete the vpn connection for all users?

Hi Tyler,
When you are logged in as the Admin of the PC you should see the connection which are created across the other accounts. By Admin I mean the Super Admin of the PC from my experience with Vista, You can not access to that level since the it’s disabled from the Vista Security policy, but can always enabled trough the computer management console in the Control Panel / Administrative Tools.
Honestly I didn’t try it with Win 7, but I will try and keep you posted here.
Thanks

I think what Microsoft expects is that, their Win 7 users are returning from Win Vista. Seems some arrangements of features are pretty confusing takes time to understand.
I’m glad that you found this post helpful
