It’s One-Way not a High-Way You IDIOTS !!!
by Dush on Jan.28, 2010, under Life style
All of us know that From Bambalapitiya to Colombo fort The Galle road is one-way towards to Colombo. Lately I’ve seen some idiots thinking that it’s a high-way. Some ppl think that they are in/on a G5 Jet when they get in/on their ride. This is for your information. It’s a Freakin ONE-WAY not a HIGH-WAY for you to do your speed thing. Please keep your speed low. If not sure I’m sure you’ll be ending up running over somebody.
Don’t kill no body, Coz you got it all fired up!
Peace
Alvin And The Chipmunks 2 Sucked!!
by Dush on Jan.18, 2010, under Life style, Movies
Last night I got into the Savoy Theater to see a musical comedy, which was great and did very good of it’s 1st Movie. “Alvin and the Chipmunks- 2” was incredibly unsuccessful of grabbing its audience.
One wrong thing that the movie importer did to support its unsuccessfulness was to bringing in 2 animated movies in a close time frame. When they are still screening AVATAR at the Liberty Cinema, they started screening Alvin at Savoy. Forgetting that the returning crowed from Avatar will be walking into Alvin, so they definitely are going to compare the two in their mind.
But I should mentioned that I really enjoyed the 1st movie and it was awesome, I think what went wrong in the 2nd movie is they removed Dave from the movie by hospitalizing him, and introduced someone else to take his place which I find not entertaining at all.

In a time where everything is being judged, and the respect for each other is losing little by little, when we see something like this, it’s actually turns our minds around for a while. perhaps these kind of events might refresh our memories and remind us who we really should be.
Following is an event took place in Korea. The original post is almost 1.5 years old but still feels good to read something like this.
“Teachers wash their students’ feet at a Seoul high school on May 14, a day before Teachers’ Day (May 15th), to thank students for respecting them:”

“Foot washing ceremony derives from the Christianity’s Maundy Thursday — Jesus Christ washed his disciples’ feet to express his love to them before the last supper.
Korean professors express good wishes to their students in the ‘foot washing ceremony’ “

The school master of a Pusan high school washes his student’ feet on honors day:

In Korea, not only teachers wash their students’ feet but also students wash their teachers’ feet to express their appreciation, the following photo was taken at a Korean campus:
