It was 1999, when I started my life with computers, with one of my friends at school, though I found my self very bad in school work, I got hold of computers like mad, simply it influenced me in a way that I could never ever live without it..
Starting my life as a PASCAL programmer, I enjoyed writing cool pascal apps, when I started my Computer Diploma level.. I was ahead in programming, During my course work I got through JAVA, VB 6, C#.net and I used some of the languages in professional practice as well.
Then I joined one of the leading web companies (Weblook Int) in Sri Lanka in 2003 August as a junior Web Designer to the team. I should say that Weblook really sharpened me up. Joining as a web designer helped a lot to bring out my web designing skills to an acceptable level.
Then company recognized my programming skills and offered me to join in as a PHP programmer, Trust me I didn’t even know what PHP was. so I got this book to self-study at the start of my new career as a PHP developer.
Don’t do what you do if you are doing it just for the living.
but live, if you love what you are doing..
